Damasteel Dimensions The layers in the damascus steel bars is of course thinner in a small bar than in a large bar. (If both bars have the same amount of layers.) If a tight pattern is wanted, then always use a bar dimension as close as possible to the product that is made from the bar. Many different dimensions are avalible, both flats and rounds.
